What an event. It was great to have a consultative meeting with the Kenya Forest Service, chaired by Mr James Mburu RFC.

We learned all about how the Kenya Forest Service conducts mangrove restoration on the ground, with inputs from GIS experts, Mangrove Officers, Forest Station Managers & County Forest Conservators of the Coast

We were then able to display and discuss our chosen sites from online mapping work, kindly generated & presented by our brilliant technical advisor Mateus Mendes. Next step must be to get a mandate from the CCF.
